What Does "Made-to-Order" Really Mean? Inside Our Production Process

What does made-to-order mean?

It means we don't hold finished stock. When you place an order, we begin casting the jesmonite base, 3D-printing the structural core, and hand-applying the shade material for your specific lamp and colourway, rather than shipping from a pre-built inventory.

How long does made-to-order production take?

Production takes about 10–20 days from order to dispatch, depending on the piece and current order volume. Orders placed between 24 December and 6 January may see slight delays around the holidays.

Why choose made-to-order over ready-made?

Made-to-order lets us offer a wider range of colours and material combinations than we could stock as finished inventory, and it means less material waste — we cast and cut only what's been ordered.

What happens after production?

Once your lamp is complete, it ships via DHL — €3 within Romania, €10 to other European countries — with a first delivery attempt at your address and a nearby DHL access point as backup.

Can I track the production of my order?

For a status update on an order in production, contact us directly by phone or email and we'll let you know where things stand.
