How long does a made-to-order lamp take to arrive?

Every Nexus Luminaires piece is made to order in our Cluj-Napoca studio. Production takes about 10–20 days, after which your lamp ships via DHL — allow a few extra days in transit on top of the production window.

Do you ship outside Romania?

Yes. We ship across Romania for €3 and to other European countries for €10, using DHL. Deliveries are made to your address or the nearest DHL access point if no one is available.

What is jesmonite, and why do you use it?

Jesmonite is a gypsum-and-acrylic composite. We use it for our weighted lamp bases because it combines a heavy, grounded feel with a smooth mineral finish that pairs well with our 3D-printed and hand-applied elements.

What materials do your lamps use?

Depending on the piece, our lamps combine jesmonite bases, 3D-printed structural cores, and hand-applied materials such as faux fur, alpaca bouclé wool, pleated felt, faux leather, plant-based polymers, and brass hardware.

What bulbs are included, and can I choose my own?

Most lamps offer a choice of Philips LED bulbs in E14 or E27 fittings, in warm colour temperatures from 2700K to 4000K. You can also select "no bulb" at checkout and supply your own.

Can I request a custom colour or finish?

Many pieces already come in multiple colourways and material options, selectable on the product page. For bespoke requests or trade orders beyond what's listed, contact us directly and we'll let you know what's possible.

What is your return and refund policy?

We offer a 30-day return window (14 days as a cooling-off period for EU customers) on unused items in original packaging. Custom or special-order items may not be eligible for return. See our full Refund Policy for details, or email us to start a return.

Do you offer a warranty?

We don't publish a separate written warranty, but we stand behind the quality of every piece. If your lamp arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us and we'll make it right.

Do you work with trade or interior design clients?

Yes — we welcome trade partnerships and interior design collaborations. Reach out with your project details and we'll follow up directly.
